How long I've been an Imagination Station member - Since 2017
What I love about Imagination Station - I love Imagination Station because it gives families with younger children opportunities to learn, explore and build their imagination with age-appropriate toys and reading materials.
A quote I live by - "If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be." Maya Angelou
After stumbling across Imagination Station during a search for something to do with her little one, Priscilla decided to be more involved with the museum and joined the publicity committee in late 2017. She now serves on our board as Public Relations Officer. Priscilla graduated from Bethune-Cookman University with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, and Full Sail University with a master’s degree in New Media Journalism.
During her time at B-CU she oversaw the campus newspaper as editor-in-chief, and additionally co-hosted, wrote, shot, and produced TV shows for the campus television station. She also marched in B-CU’s marching band playing the French horn. After college, she moved to Georgia where she met her husband. They moved to the Augusta area in early 2017. Priscilla spends her time with her two-year-old daughter Layla as a stay-at-home mom and freelances her writing and marketing talents to different organizations and companies around the world.
